I don’t usually wear shorts that much as I have the impression that they don’t suit me but this year large paper bag shorts are on trend like the one I’m showing you today.

As you can see the secret is to wear large shorts, with a special waist, be it a paper bag waist or featuring a large belt. Then the top can either be a tight-fitting one like what I’m wearing today, a basic ZARA top, or you can pair it with a shirt which we will tuck in to highlight our waist.

As it’s a relatively basic look I’ve combined it with special accessories: first off we have these flat gladiator sandals which I’ve used a tonne this summer.

I really love the layered necklace trend we've had this past year, this one features coins and crosses in gold tone and it's by New Look, it really makes the look stand out! The necklace is very affordable and the link to it is below!

The star accessory is of course the half moon bamboo bag by Kalimba. This Japanese inspired bag has always caught my eye as I think it’s very original and makes any outfit look special!
