How to Style a Floral Kimono

I'm really loving the fun and colourful patterns in this year's summer collections, another recent trend are kimonos which can be great statement pieces in your wardrobe. Here is my outfit with a short floral one!

I have been truly lucky to have given birth to Astrid when I did, the weather is just absolutely fabulous and we can enjoy long walks in the warm weather. I'm enjoying colourful looks to match my good mood.

ZARA has released a whole load of gorgeous kimonos in different colourful prints and they've been selling like hot cakes! In fact I wanted a long one but they were all sold out at my local store so I went for a short kimono. It features long Japanese style sleeves and a lovely flowery print over a cream coloured background.

As this is the statement piece I have paired the kimono with some ZARA white jeans. They're distressed which gives the outfit a more informal look.

The sandals are one of my favourite ones: these Michael Kors studded sandals remind me a little of the Valentino Rockstud but have a different vibe to them. The kitten heel is very comfortable!

Now doesn't the Whistles coral clutch match the kimono perfectly? It has a golden chain which also matches the studs on the shoes and the golden lenses of the Quay x Desi High Key sunglasses. I have to say I've been loving this look for my shopping trips to the centre of the city!
