It's about time I showed you one of my handbag essentials: my agenda! I'm a terribly absent-minded person and having a planner really helps me sort things out and get everything done. Here is a what I hope will be my agenda for a long time!

I've had Filofax agendas in the past, and I usually have a desktop one at home or work to write down all the small things I want to do daily. But what I really needed was a small agenda to take in my handbag with all my main appointments, classes and other essential information. 

I asked my husband for an agenda for Christmas but I never expected to receive a Louis Vuitton one!!  This one is the Louis Vuitton Agenda PM, the smallest size, which is perfect to take in your handbag. 

They have this agenda in several patterns and colours, my husband chose the Damier Ebène print which I didn't have anything in and will go with anything. It will also last well as it's made of canvas and the dark colouring won't show dirt so much. 

The size of this agenda is 3.94 x 5.51 inches, it features a six-ring binder and three credit card slots. It is the smallest in the range and is the equivalent of the pocket size in Filofax (it took me a while to figure it out haha).

It has a press stud closure and as I said is made of canvas with leather lining. It also has an incredibly small loop to take a pen, but you need to look for a really thin one to fit it. I managed to buy a set of three Ted Baker pens which fit although quite tightly, but look lovely with the agenda. 

You can buy the Louis Vuitton refills but I thought they were quite expensive so for this first year I picked up the Filofax equivalent. Other years I will probably print them or buy one on Etsy, there are many options. 

The agenda is a brilliant size to take in your handbag, but it's quite small. You can't fit the refills for the whole year in the agenda as the rings are very small, and the space to write if you get the week per two pages is quite small. Nevertheless I only wanted this agenda to write essential information, not everything, and I use it every single day!

Overall I'm really happy with this agenda, the canvas is hardy and the print and colour will never go out of style. If you want more space to write and take things perhaps the medium is a better size, they also seem to sell more things for that size on Etsy and places like that. 

It obviously isn't cheap at £240 but it's a Louis Vuitton agenda and you can reuse it year after year so I'm sure I'll really make the most of it!
