Hairdresser Blogger Event

Last Saturday, just before my trip to Scotland I got the chance to go to the I Blogger/Youtuber meet up for Gala Group, and even though I was a little busy preparing things for the trip I couldn't miss out! I'm very glad I went!
I already knew Gala Group for some time, as it's my fiancé's hairdresser and it's very close to where we live, so when I found out they were organizing an event in collaboration with my fellow blogger Raquel In My Curls, I was really happy for them.
As soon as we went into the pretty hairdresser we were greeted with a delicious mocktail made by Alejandro Gómez from Asador Coto Real. It was really yummy, I love cocktails and the the kiwi and pineapple was a perfect fruity mix.
We sat in the large area in the hairdresser prepared for the occasion and they introduced us to the staff who work at the hairdresser. Then we played a fun game of Trivial with questions related to hairdressing and makeup.
I was surprised that we knew more than we expected and we had a great laugh with the answers, mixed with champagne and yummy brownie from Restaurante España!
Not only did we learn with all the questions, they also showed us some techniques and tips to style our hair. Us bloggers were happy to be models for them to show us what to do! I was very interested in the L'Oreal Steam Pod, a straightener which uses vapour and keratin. I am a big fan of the GHD but this is a better option for haircare.
It was a fun afternoon because we learnt a lot with the questions, laughed a lot, we were fed yummy things and we got the chance to take part in some giveaways.
On one had the shop Bonita y Coqueta gave away an original clutch, L'Oreal gave some of their products and the hairdresser also gave us some products and some discounts. Some of us will also have the chance to go to a protocol course by Model In School which sounded really interesting!
I'd like to thank all the staff of Gala Group and Raquel for counting on me, and my fellow bloggers for a lovely afternoon!
