Stage Line Hydra Volume Lipstick # 50 review and swatches

I really must dedicate a full post to this hydrating lipstick, it's a wonderful colour for autumn and winter so I want you to take a look at this creamy dark red.
Perhaps you had never heard of this make before; neither had I! Stage Line Profesional is a cosmetics brand which sells to beauty salons, that's why you've probably never seen it before. I certainly hadn't so I was very curious to try out some of their products.
The lipstick is the first product by Stage Line Professional Makeup I wanted to show you, as it's a great colour for the colder months and it might be a great lipstick for those of you with dry lips.
The formulation of the Hydra Volume lipstick is very moisturizing as the name suggests. It glides on the lips in one swipe and the pigmentation is out of this world!
In fact, it's so pigmented and creamy that it can be a little tough to apply. If you aren't careful you'll get lipstick all over the place! It also has the tendency to get on your teeth. My suggestion is that you use a lip liner first and a lip brush to get the best finish.
The lipstick has vitamin E which is an antioxidant and it also contains SPF 10 to protect the lips from the sun. Not only is this lipstick very hydrating, it is also antiaging. It leaves lips looking plump and voluminous which is great for dry or aging lips.
They have a wide range of colours and 50 is a neutral dark red which would suit most skin colours. It's a colour many of you have asked me about when wearing it, and I have to agree I've really been loving it. I have pigmented lips so most dark reds can look blackened, but not this one.
As for the price , it costs 13.50 (it's cheaper in Spain at 9 euros) for 4.5 grams of product. The price is reasonable in Spain but it's a little high in the UK considering it isn't a well known brand.
The other problem is that they aren't widely sold in stores, so it's hard to choose the colour online. It's a real shame as it's a lovely hydrating lipstick, so I hope they become more widely available.
You can purchase this lipstick in the Stage Line online store.
Had you ever heard of this brand?
