I'm sort of on a low buy at the moment because I have way too much makeup and I want to save some money for a special event this year. But there are still some amazing releases on the horizon, let's take a look at some of the ones I find the most exciting...

NARS is a brand I'm falling more and more in love with, they have amazing quality and they're releasing some exciting new products. Here are three I'm excited about:

- NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow palette: Isn't it just gorgeous? And amazing value because you get to try all those different colours. It's already available to purchase and I might've ordered one...

- NARS Dual Intensity Blush: I read about this on Café Makeup and I think it's amazing that they're trying a new formula considering their regular line is so popular!

- NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation: any new foundation by this make is likely to create a lot of interest and this one promises to be long wearing and lightweight even though it's full coverage.

I actually haven't tried many products by Clarins even though it's an amazing brand; this year they've got two products for lips which seem really interesting:

- Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort: my lips are always dry and cracked so a lip oil sounds like a great idea to keep them looking smooth, specially considering how much I love face oils!

- Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Balm Perfectors: everyone goes on about the Clarins balm so this new product is really interesting as it adds a bit of colour and it's in a user friendly format.

Some of my favourite luxury brands also have new products coming out, let me show you some of the most interesting ones in my opinion:

- Marc Jacobs New Lip Creme and New Nudes: I've only recently had the chance to try Marc Jacobs now that it has been released in Sephora Spain and the brand has just released this new formula for their lipsticks!

- Giorgio Armani Eye Tint: They have been released in the US and as Armani always do amazing eye products I think this will be really exciting.

- Guerlain Météorites Perles de Blush: The famous little balls by Guerlain are now being released as a lovely pink blush which is really interesting indeed. These are part of the Spring collection and  are available now.

And finally some new releases from high end brands which I'm sure will be great hits:

- Tarte Tartalette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette: I've never had the pleasure to try this brand but I've only heard good things so this matte eyeshadow palette is sure to be a great hit if they can get the formula right. You can already purchase it in Sephora in the US.

- Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar: The regular chocolate bar eyeshadow palette was a great hit and now we have another edition which is supposed to be a darker and warmer version. It's already available in Sephora in the US.

- Benefit Roller Lash Mascara: I have the feeling this could either be a hit or a flop. It's supposed to be styled on old fashioned velcro rollers to give you length and curl. A sample will be provided with Elle magazine so keep a close eye on your local magazine stands.

We're still at the beginning of the year and there are already so many exciting releases! Who knows what other wonderful things will be released later on this year? Which new makeup and beauty releases are you looking forward to?
