Today I thought I'd show you some makeup and beauty products that I bought and used in 2014 that were not quite what I expected for one reason or another. I'll be telling you why these different products have disappointed me.

Before I buy anything I make sure to read as many reviews as possible, watch videos and swatches if necessary. Thanks to the online beauty community I'm able to buy products quite confidently but even so, as I have to buy most products online there are always some that don't quite work on me for one reason or another. 

This is obviously my personal opinion and I'm sure that many of these products work perfectly well on you. Each person has a different body chemistry, skin type, skintone and characteristics which means that something could work perfectly well on you and not on me. Nevertheless I still consider it important to point out why I don't like these products so that you have another honest opinion to take into account before purchasing.
