Topshop MINE boots - THE boot for this autumn-winter
Friday, November 28, 2014
I just had to dedicate a full post on these boots because they are my most used item of clothing I have purchased this autumn. Let's have a closer look at these bestselling boots by Topshop.
I first saw these lovelies on Amelia Liana's youtube channel and as soon as my eyes set on them I was in love. I hadn't really seen any boots I fancied this year and these really stood out to me. The problem was that I had to buy them online without trying them on and they're quite pricey.
I then saw them again on Hello October's video and at that moment I just couldn't resist any further. I still had doubts about buying without trying and whether they'd be comfortable so I decided to ask the girls. They both very kindly answered that they were ok but needed wearing in as they were leather. That spurred me on.
I ordered them and when I saw them in person they were just as amazing as I had imagined them! I love the mix of black and gold and it doesn't look too brash, it's just perfect. The most special feature are the golden plates on the heels. I thought they'd be too much but they are great as they flash a bit of gold but it isn't as visible when wearing them. They have a gold buckle and button too and I love the wrap-around leather straps.
I bought these in a size 7 (EU size 40) which is my regular size for shoes and they're perfect. The heel height is great as they're chunky and comfortable but add some height to your everyday outfit. I was worried they'd be uncomfortable at first but they are comfy and once the leather has softened they're even better.
The style means you can wear them in a more casual or dressed up manner. The golden details really make them special and I practically haven't taken them off since I bought them. There is also a cut-out version of these boots which are also really lovely but I find the closed ones are easier to pair. They're also warmer and more waterproof for winter!
They are truly THE boots of the season and I just can't get enough of them. Do you like them?
