Ever since I was a little child I have loved advent calendars. It's a great way to get excited for Christmas and who doesn't love getting a little something everyday. I've only ever had chocolate advent calendars but for the first time I will be showcasing the Boots N7 Advent calendar.

My plan was to buy an advent calendar for myself and one for my mum but Boots only allows you to place one order per person so I decided to give it to my mum! When the advent calendar arrived I was so pleased because it looks absolutely amazing.

It's much larger than I expected and it opens in half so that it has windows on both sides. The packaging is really beautiful, sparkly and shiny and absolutely perfect. I think they've chosen well because it'll appeal to a wide range of ages, it isn't too Christmassy and yet it's still full of magic and sparkle.

There are many beauty advent calendars this year in a wide range of prices but the Boots advent calendar is nicely priced and offers a good balance between makeup and skin care. The advent calendar costs £35 and there's £135 value which is really good!

I think the N7 range is very good and I enjoyed their skin care for quite a few years so a nice selection of small sized products is a great opportunity to get to try their range. They have even included some makeup brushes which is a nice touch.
